Midas Medusa failed to justify favouritism when dropped in grade at Bath last time and she is starting to look a little exposed now. There should be more to come from Lady Jameela, however, following a promising debut at Newbury, though she only finished three-quarters-of-a-length in front of Kune Kune who was hampered when making ground approaching the final furlong. Newcomer Ladyship is bred in the purple, being by Oasis Dream out of top-class miler Peeress, and is worth noting for future reference but there's just a chance fellow debutante DESERT GAZELLE will be the sharper of the pair today. The Godolphin filly's pedigree is littered with Graded winners in the States and connections will be looking for some return on her $400,000 purchase price.
