Maybe is clearly a smart filly and beat Fire Lily and today's rival La Collina in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh in August to complete her first season undefeated. She may well continue on an upward curve but whether her form is that much better than the pick of the English and French-trained fillies is open to debate and she's plenty short enough for the season's second classic. Godolphin hold a strong hand as Discourse was impressive when landing the Sweet Solera over 7f here in August though Frankie prefers Lyric Of Light, another unbeaten filly and successful in the Fillies' Mile over C&D in September. But, at the likely odds, it could worth taking a risk on the unexposed DIALA. Beaten less than a length by Lyric Of Light on her debut over 7f here on good to soft, she was on the easy list for a while after but reappeared to win her maiden on the bridle in October and Willie Haggas speaks highly of her. Moonstone Magic had to be supplemented for this after beating Radio Gaga in the Fred Darling but will love the ground and should go well along with Mashoora, who has decent form in France. Lightening Pearl is another with decent claims on the form book but Ger Lyons' filly may not take her chance if the ground is too soft.
