Verdict

The unexposed Ryton Runner may just need this but should be placed to good effect before the season's out. Stablemate Trumpington Street disappointed at York last time and looks high enough in the weights at present but there are possibilities about last month's C&D winner Proud Chieftain now he's found his best trip and No Larking has shown enough to suggest he could get competitive off bottom weight if handling the longer distance. FIGARO was making his seasonal reappearance when fourth over a mile at Haydock in June. There's an abundance of stamina in his breeding which suggests he'll much more at home over this trip and William Haggas' gelding can get off the mark in his first handicap.
