Verdict

The cut in the ground should suit Zabaglione and he is taken to build on his seasonal reappearance today. Roger Charlton's charge showed a good level of progression last season and could have too much toe for some of today's rivals if the rain has got into the ground. Excellento and Aversham appeal as the best of the rest whereas Polar Force has become a frustrating horse to follow and will struggle to give weight away at this level.
