Verdict

Columbian Roulette was well beaten in soft ground at Newbury so a chance is taken on SEA DEFENCE handling the surface. The latter wasn't beaten far when fifth at Kempton on his debut. Think Ahead is another with claims if coping with the ground after an introductory third at Newcastle and a few of the newcomers are worth a second glance. They include Loving Home and Mr Greenspan while the 100,000gns yearling Certificate is another to note. But Archambo is a half-brother to a host of winners that include the very smart Cavalryman and he could prove best of the debutants.
