Verdict

Tully Cross and Seek The Truth both have to be respected coming into this on the back of good wins last time but both have rather harshly been raised 9lbs for those successes and preference is for DIVEX. Micky Hammond's gelding was going well prior to unseating his rider four out in a similar contest at Hexham when last seen in June and he looks worth chancing on his first start since then in what is a poor contest. Peter Bowen has had his team in very good form but it is hard to recommend his runner Particle on all known form, while Nicky Tam has given little sign of encouragement to his handler Nicky Richards so far. Sue Bradburne's Yankee Holiday is gradually slipping to a fair mark but probably needs further help from the handicapper and a better bet looks to be Divex.
