In depth

Verdict

SUMMER LODGE is the percentage call in the nightcap with African Cheetah and That'll Do Nicely on the shortlist. The Beverley winner is 2lb higher this afternoon but he should have few issues in relation to the going and the claimer is well worth the 5lb that he can take off the weightcloth. African Cheetah won a maiden at the track in May. He steps up in trip this afternoon having appeared to need further last time out. That'll Do Nicely is back to a winning mark though his last two races have provided little cheer for his backers. Capable Guest was racing off marks in the 90's a year ago and it seems hard to believe that he has lost so much ability in such a short space of time. Casino Night does not appear the most obvious improver for a switch to middle distances. Dechiper may have preferred it to be a little softer than the going that he'll find here. Summer Lodge looks to have the most obvious claims.
