Supreme Developer took on the best novices over hurdles and can come good ahead of Imperial Dream, Possextown and Dumadic to name but three. Supreme Developer made Paddy The Piper pull out all the stops on his chase debut over the course and distance earlier this month, and with normal improvement should go one better today. The ex-Irish gelding has already appeared at two Cheltenham Festivals, finishing sixth to Pizarro in the 2002 Bumper, and then was down the field in last year's Supreme Novices' Hurdle. He is a very interesting recruit from the Tony Mullins yard and should outclass this lot. Imperial Dream did not get the best of luck in running at Sedgefield last time but was still only beaten a head by Test Of Friendship. He can give the selection most to do along with Possextown, a winning pointer in Ireland who will improve in time and over a longer trip, being out of an Over The River mare. Dumadic was useful between the flags and is one to monitor, but Supreme Developer is the one to be on now.
