In depth

Verdict

Or D'Oudairies is a little flattered by his form figures and has only managed one win in 18 previous attempts over this trip. Something Silver has lost his way lately, as have Carrietau and FRED BOJANGALS but Ann Hamilton's gelding is back in the right grade today and could be the value against top weight Montoya's Son, who has dropped a little in the weights but does struggle to get his head in front. Flying Squad won at Wetherby in November but then got taken to task by the handicapper, though was far from disgraced after a break at Ayr. He is probably the danger to the selection.
