Verdict

A tricky end to proceedings. Desert Colours was only beaten half-a-length at Musselburgh when attempting a six-timer. He's gone up a further 4lb since, however, while You're Fired is 6lb higher than when beating Regiment a neck at Haydock though is probably still progressing. Halation is 5lb higher than when second at Yarmouth and AMOOD left previous form behind when beating Telefono at Kempton at the start of the month. The runner-up has franked the form since so Charlie Hills' colt is taken to double his tally. Erroneous is starting to come down the weights and shouldn't be written off just yet but this looks a big ask for Act Of Charity and Ryeolliean has his first run since October.
