In depth

Verdict

NO THROUGH ROAD has won five of his last six but there was no sign that his run was about to end at Ayr last week as he quickly went clear when Tom Scudamore let out an inch of rein and was eased before the line. He can defy a penalty to score again as the mare Silverton couldn't defy a big jump in the weights when favourite at Kelso and has been raised a further 4lb since. Beeves hasn't really fired so far this season while the handicapper appears to have Little Glenshee just where he wants her. Outlaw Tom is a stout stayer but tends to reserve his best for Hexham.
