The well-bred Hadrian is the selection in a race where the betting market will speak volumes about his rivals; with Turnaround expected to have learnt enough from his debut to outgun Tsaroxy as the best of the rest. John Forbes was set a stiff test on his debut and is another to note in running for future reference as he hails from a yard that have placed horses of his type well once they have gained sufficient experience. However, this does appear to be a good opportunity for Hadrian to live up to his eye-catching pedigree and, if he is anywhere near as forward as his half-brother Classic Park was for his debut, he will take all beating in this company. It is also worth noting that Mark Johnston has a 21% strike-rate with his juveniles this season and the hint should be taken if the initial offers from the ring are snapped up about this Derby entry here. Turnaround should appreciate the step up to six furlongs but, in all truth, will need to have improved greatly if he is to cope with the challenge of the likes of Hadrian from now on.
