Verdict

Jibaal was well beaten off this mark at Nottingham earlier in the month but fellow three-year-old Hernando Torres has improved of late and finished second off his new rating at Doncaster three weeks ago. Keys Of Cyprus is back on a winning mark but his last two runs have been very disappointing, though he's still preferred to equally out of form stablemate Rasselas and Horatio Carter. Lakeman has only beaten one home in his last two starts, while Daring Dream has a penalty for his win in a modest Ayr handicap last week and Out Of Nothing has finished tailed off in both starts this year. That leaves REEL BUDDY STAR, who has a decent record at Gosforth Park and has been running well enough lately to suggest he can defy top weight in this.
