        Verdict

        ROYAL HOLIDAY has done all his winning on the Fibresand hence the 6lb lower mark back on Turf despite scoring at Southwell last time. Marjorie Fife's charge is taken to put the record straight today and gain his first win on this surface. Pelmanism will handle the going but today's longer trip may prove beyond him and the same applies to Iceblast. Tectonic will figure if building on his recent second at Hamilton but both Tony Hollis and Last Destination would prefer faster ground. Dream Walker has tumbled down the weights but has shown no improvement for it as yet.
