In depth

Verdict

The newcomers look nothing special on paper and so we put this between Cee Bargara and Dan Tucket, with the former getting the vote, Abolition is the one to watch out for in the betting. Jamie Osborne has his juveniles in good form and Cee Bargara was most impressive when successful at Pontefract last time out. That was over five furlongs but that is a stiff track and he was staying on strongly so todays extra distance shouldn't be a problem. Dan Tucket made hard work of beating Hobson at Folkestone last time over five furlongs. He is bred to get at least a mile and so today's six furlongs should suit. Abolition has a decent American pedigree and hails from a yard more than capable of getting one ready first time out. The other interesting newcomer is Nine Stories, but on this occasion the experienced horses look above average and Cee Bargara is the more likely winner.
