Verdict

A three-year-old maiden is next on the card and hopefully FORSYTH can make his experience count against two well bred newcomers from top yards. The selection gets a tentative vote in a contest where the market will provide valuable insight into the race. Alan Swinbank's horse showed huge improvement from his first run when nabbed late on by an above average horse of John Gosden's. With further improvement likely the newcomers will have to be above average to beat him. Both Pass Muster and Rule Maker are nicely bred types from top yards but we do not know how good they are so the market should help guide. Cayo from the Mark Johnston yard should also be monitored but Forsyth is the selection.
