In depth

Verdict

A difficult contest here for punters to fathom but Cheverak Forest, Yarn Spinner and Katies Role look the ones with the strongest form and we will take a chance on Yarn Spinner. The gelding from the Linda Ramsden yard was second in a seller behind Red Lancer last time out and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Cheverak Forest rates the main danger despite top weight he was a fair third behind Turf Princess and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Katies Role is one of the least exposed in the field and from a good low draw she has definite place claims off what looks a fair mark. Loveisdangerous is another that= could go well but it is slightly worrying that blinkers are tried for the first time here. Of the remainder Delta Lady looks well in on her best form but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum the tentative vote goes to Yarn Spinner.
