      Verdict

Ursus scrambled home over the C&D a month ago and ran quite well over an extra furlong at Catterick though he's 6lb higher than for his victory. MALTEASE AH has been busy recently, scoring over 5f at Leicester last month and running well on both subsequent starts including when staying on at Beverley. This trip on fast ground shouldn't be a problem and his young rider's claim can help him score again. John Coffey hasn't had much experience and produced his best run to date at Redcar last time but the veteran Xpres Maite will surely find this too short.
