Verdict

RED TYKE has progressed as he has stepped up in trip and, as he looks certain to be suited by this long straight, he gets the vote to continue his improvement. Madrasa has already scored over the trip on fast ground at Redcar but was raised 9lb for that effort and not surprisingly beaten here subsequently. The assessor has relented a little with a 2lb drop and he can get competitive. Ad Value won a minor handicap over the trip on soft ground at Musselburgh but has been beaten a long way on both starts since and Irish raider Passion Planet has still to win a race after 14 starts. Quiet Appeal is no stable star but just 2lb higher than when scoring over 1m4f at Beverley and things haven't gone right for her in subsequent races. She can get involved while Mr Snoozy would have an obvious chance if taking his place though the ground needs to ease considerably.
