Verdict

Hi Dancer and Viscount Rossini have won the last two renewals of this. The former is on a 5lb higher mark than a year ago and has been out of form but Steve Gollings' charge, though 11lb higher than two years ago, has been running quite well and must be considered. Euro American reverts to hurdling after scoring over fences at Sedgefield. He's better over further than this but Rolecarr, a winner at Hexham in November, ran well over the C&D in January and looks a threat to all. WILLIE HALL hasn't had much experience since landing a bumper here in 2009 and has been racing over further but produced his best run over hurdles when dropped to 2m2f at Kelso last time where he led at the last and this trip should prove ideal.
