LAMBRINI LACE is proven in these conditions and is preferred to Strathmore, Ursus and Prospect Court. The selection is a Namid filly who seems to relish a soft surface. She only has one win to her name but she is now 6lb lower in the weights than for that success and her run at Ayr in October on desperate ground means she looks a major player. She should strip fitter for a recent run, as should Dowlleh and the potentially well-treated Lambency. Head To Head ran well in a poor race at Southwell last time out, Imperial Echo and Elkhorn are both consistent but neither wins as often as they should and the latter saves all his best runs for Redcar whilst Prospect Court is a course and distance winner who acts on soft ground despite recent evidence suggesting otherwise. Strathmore and Ursus are both consistent sprinters and neither should be far away, however in a tough contest it is Lambrini Lace who is taken to come out on top.
