Verdict

NO RULES was a winner over this trip when last seen and is tipped to score again with Rough Sketch and Miss Keck expected to make up the main opposition. The first mentioned gained his first success on the Flat at the 11th attempt last time. Connections believe that he has improved with age and that he may even get a bit further. The booking of Ted Durcan furthers the gelding's claims here and under such conditions he looks set to score. Sir Mark Prescott's Rough Sketch makes only his second start on turf and looks capable of doing well. The gelding has been running on artificial surfaces since returning to action back in January and this will be his first run on turf for almost two years. Stamina has been an issue in the past but he should be able to take advantage amongst this lowly company and make the frame here. Miss Keck looks best of the remainder, but she is proving difficult to win with. She should have an easier time of it here and is capable of making the frame. As is the norm with races of this quality a market check is advised as recent good form is few and far between. No Rules looks set to take victory in what should turn out to be a rather modest handicap.
