In depth

Verdict

Knavesmire sets the standard here following her third in the Brocklesby, however early holes have already started to appear in the form of that Doncaster event as the winner was well beaten in a Nottingham contest this week. She got going late on in the Brocklesby and that experience should stand to her and leave her spot on for today. Of the others with form Raimond Ridge was not disgraced in an ordinary maiden at Folkestone showing real signs of greenness early on. He can be expected to put it up to the favourite here. Market support for the remainder should be noted but those with the experience should fight out the finish and Knavesmire should be good enough based on the promise she displayed at Doncaster.
