    Verdict

Rebel Swing scored at Carlisle in October but has been well beaten in all subsequent starts though is now back on the same mark. WHISKEY AND RED completed a Thurles double two days before Christmas and must have been feeling the effect when beaten a long way at short odds on Boxing Day so is taken to get back on the winning trail. Zaru only had two opponents to beat over the track and trip in January but did so in impressive fashion and looks a nice prospect while The Friary is making progress though his jumping could be better. He finished in front of Papamoa at Carlisle last time and the latter looks in need of a stiffer test. Runswick Relax looks best of the remainder.
