Verdict

Monel left his previous form behind when scoring over 6f on slow ground at Ayr last week and faces different conditions off a 6lb higher mark here. All-weather winners Crimson Cloud and Beautiful Day should have more to offer on turf though Tilliemint had an excellent chance to lose her maiden tag at Catterick a week ago but disappointed. Last year's Kempton winner CINDERKAMP won on soft ground at Catterick before that. He's yet to encounter a fast surface but his two winning relatives scored on it and Ed Vaughan's colt looks to have a good chance of making it a hat-trick of winners on the night for Jamie Spencer.
