In depth

Verdict

Recent Haydock winner Mcmurrough had earlier beaten No Planning a length at Wetherby. The latter boosted the form when scoring at Kelso last month and that pair look closely matched. Wilde Pastures has every chance if staying the extra distance as he landed a hat-trick over 2m when scoring at Ayr with the minimum fuss, though is 9lb higher for this. There are no doubts about STORMING GALE's ability to last home as he also won at Ayr recently but over today's distance. Donald McCain's charge is preferred to Diamond Frontier and William Money, who are both upped in class, and gets the vote to defy a 7lb hike.
