Verdict

Act Of Kalanisi was a stayer on the Flat so the recent course winner won't be inconvenienced by the step up in trip. Al Ferof was travelling like a winner when coming to grief at Cheltenham on his hurdling debut. If that hasn't affected his confidence, he will be a threat here while Emma Lavelle holds Exeter winner Court In Motion in high regard and the battle-hardened For Non Stop will probably run his race again. Jetnova, successful twice over this trip at Plumpton this season, is on the upgrade and Ludlow winner Cavite Beta looks useful but we think there is a lot more to come from BACKSPIN. Though lacking the experience of some of his rivals, Jonjo O'Neill's gelding looked a decent prospect when scoring at Bangor two weeks ago and it's significant that shrewd connections have had no qualms about raising his sights so soon.
