Verdict

Kings Event, Ajhar and Best Prospect make the shortlist here, with Kings Event set to take advantage of bottom weight. After three promising runs as a juvenile Ajhar lost his maiden tag over this course and distance on his re-appearance before finishing a good second on his only subsequent start. he appreciates give in the ground and will find conditions to his liking here. Best Prospect scored smoothly at Haydock, before going down to Flying Clarets at York. Best Prospect re-opposes here on five pound better terms for just over two lengths and can reverse the placings. The lightly raced King's Event relished easy ground when scoring at Windsor and although finishing only third on faster ground on his latest start, Kings Event can rule here.
