Verdict

Missit, Lady Deauville and Shamayel make the shortlist here with Missit having the class to score. Lady Deauville ran her best race to date when finishing close up in a Group Three at Ayr last time. This drop to Listed company and the return to seven furlongs looks sure to suit and she can give a good account. Shamayel is a daughter of Pivotal so will appreciate any cut in the ground. Barry Hills' filly was made favourite for her Salisbury bow but found one too good before justifying favouritism in fine style bext time. She is out of a multiple winning mare and can go close despite this significant rise in grade. Missit has been running very well in better company recently, following up a good run in the Group One Cheveley Park with a close second in a Group Two last time. Mick Channon has found a good opportunity for her here and Missit can hit the spot here.
