Verdict

Serena Brotherton has won this twice in recent years and The Quarterjack has to be on the short-list despite his recent victories coming over longer trips. HI NOTE won over the course and distance last August and gained her first subsequent success over hurdles at Fontwell on Wednesday. Sheena West has booked a 7lb claimer and the six-year-old can gain the 10th victory of her career. Low Key landed a very minor handicap when last seen at Kempton in January and though Shades Of Grey has won twice here her recent efforts have offered little encouragement. High Office is reasonably consistent but hasn't won since 2011 and Our Phylli Vera will be back over hurdles before long and hasn't run since May.
