    Verdict

An interesting Group 3 for the juveniles and we'll take BRAVE ECHO to build on his maiden win last time and land this for the red hot John Gosden yard, while Bonnie Charlie, Jobe and Shampagne will all take some beating. The selection was well backed on debut but lost his action in the dip at Newmarket and then landed the recovery mission at Leicester on good ground. He should not be inconvenienced by the surface and he certainly impressed with that defeat of the useful Emirates Roadshow, so we'll take him to improve again and land this. Bonnie Charlie and Jobe are the two top-rated of those to have earned a mark and the former has already finished runner up in the Group 3 Molecomb at Goodwood in July. He was not far away in this grade last time and acts with cut, so he is a serious danger. Jobe was not disgraced in finishing within six lengths of Bushranger in the Middle Park last time and the step up in trip should be no problem, so he too can get heavily involved. Shampagne has won four times at a range of trips this season, including this distance. As a result he is battle-hardened, has proven ability and acts with cut. Nasri is another to consider, and Brian Meehan's colt went very well in defeat over this trip last time and looks sure to be bang there. Rileyskeepingfaith has trip and ground to suit and is not dismissed lightly but Brave Echo left a good impression last time and can step up to the mark here.
