In depth

Verdict

DANAT AL ATHEER attempts a longer trip after a second to the progressive Lilac Lace at Carlisle last month. Breeding suggests she'll prove well suited to middle-distances and she gets the nod. Light Rose finished tailed off when odds-on for her seasonal debut and Squeeze My Brain makes more appeal after a promising reappearance at Sandown. Movementneverlies did better at at Windsor last time and is another likely to appreciate the step up in distance today. Soft ground looked a legitimate excuse for Everleigh's below par run at Nottingham and he looks best of the rest back on fast going.
