In depth

Verdict

Arctic Actress appears to be improving with experience but clearly isn't one of the leading lights at her powerful yard. Young Mags has to go on the short-list after getting off the mark at Towcester, while Kentford Grey Lady was given far too much to do when third to Dream Function at Exeter last time. But we like the look of MISS MILBORNE on her hurdling debut as she would surely have won a bumper at Fontwell on her reappearance had she not veered off a true line in the closing stages. She finished ahead of Ballyquin Queen and Tempest River at Huntingdon in February and that pair were subsequently fourth and sixth in a Listed bumper at Sandown when Kentford Grey Lady was among the also-rans.
