    Verdict

Boomshakalaka, Carlitos and Gauvain are three against the field in a tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Boomshakalaka. The selection is held in high regard and was a fair second behind Back Among Friends last time. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and with this better ground also in his favour he will be hard to beat. Carlitos rates the main danger on his latest sixth behind Wichita Lineman and this is certainly easier, so if he is given a soft lead he will not be far away. Gauvain is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Missis Potts but this looks more competitive and his overall profile leaves him with a little to find. Go On Line is well bred and is clearly thought capable of better than he showed on his debut so should be noted in the market. Of the remainder, Heez A Steel is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but for the winner we return to Boomshakalaka.
