Verdict

FOREST ROW was quietly fancied on his debut here back in May and wasn't beaten that far in fifth-place. Today's extra half-furlong will suit and the half-brother to Presvis is taken to make a winning comeback. Sheikh The Reins has the best recent form with a second over 6f at Newmarket where Switzerland was well beaten in sixth. He makes more appeal than Usain Colt who never threatened at this track on his debut. Daffyd has plenty of speed in his pedigree but so does fellow newcomer Swan Song, a half-sister to Listed sprint winner Loch Verdi among others, and both are worth noting in the betting.
