A quality contest which means that few of this field can be ruled out but we like the look of NASRI who's marginally preferred to Tishtar whilst Carnaby Haggerston should be involved again. The selection is held in high regard at Brian Meehan's yard and, like many from the stable, has improved steadily with experience. He has attracted support on each of his three starts and opened his account at the expense of Definightly over course and distance last time. Nasri appeared to win with a little up his sleeve on that occasion and is open to the improvement required to land this heat. Tishtar is a respected rival as there's a suspicion that this trip and ground could suit him ideally and he was the subject of heavy support on his penultimate start at Goodwood suggesting that there may be more in the locker. Carnaby Haggerston is more exposed than a few of these but may well have benefited from a mid-season break. His form stands up well, he has proven form under similar conditions and his yard is flying so it's reasonable to expect a bold display. However, the pick is the dual Group race entered Nasri.
