      Verdict

The juvenile landscape is starting to change as late-maturing types begin to appear. Captain Bob, Cabaan and Calrissian have shown enough already to be of interest but it would be no surprise to see one of a host of choicely-bred types come to the fore. Hamdan Al Maktoum is double-handed with Muwaary for the Gosden team and Ghaawy representing Sir Michael Stoute although the owner's charges are rarely fully wound up first time. Torrid, LAcan and Mount Logan should improve with time but Richard Hannon has three chances here and his 160,000gns newcomer, JERSEY ROYAL, is the hopeful selection. The Royal Applause colt is the choice of Richard Hughes but don't rule out Filosofo as Hannon second string juveniles have a habit of upstaging the seeming stable preferred.
