Verdict

This is another competitive handicap and the vote is given to Aphorism, who can get the better of Plane Painter and Rollin 'n Tumblin. The selection has trip and ground to suit and she also has an excuse for a slightly below-par effort at Nottingham last time as she pulled too hard. If she settles from the off today then she should prove tough to beat. Plane Painter won well at Bath when last seen out in October and he will go on the ground, but he had the race run to suit last time and he may not get things all his own way today. Rollin 'n Tumblin has gone from strength to strength on the all-weather over the winter and if he can translate that form back to the turf then he would have leading claims. Richard Fahey's got his string in good form at present so Sadler's Kingdom makes some each-way appeal, but in terms of a win bet then look no further than Aphorism.
