Richard Hannon's Chain Lightning has easily the best form among the three runners to have raced previously having found Surrey Star just half-a-length too good at Epsom when last seen in July and he has to be strongly considered but there are some interesting newcomers in opposition and the winner may come from one of those. Musical Flight makes plenty of appeal for Barry Hills but the yard is struggling for winners at present, while Brian Meehan's youngsters normally improve for their first start so L'hermitage looks best watched. John Gosden has his string in flying form at present though and he introduces a son of Azamour in COLOMBIAN, who takes the eye on breeding and he could be good enough to make a winning debut and gets the vote.
