Verdict

Huxley Stakes winner Doctor Fremantle bounced back to winning ways after a disappointing effort in the Hardwicke when landing the Group 2 Princess Of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket last time in July but Sir Michael Stoute's colt has a penalty to carry for that success and a better bet may be CAMPANOLOGIST, who gets the verdict with Look Here rated the pick of the remainder. The selection disappointed behind Doctor Fremantle in the Princess Of Wales's Stakes but has shown better from since then with a decent second behind Jukebox Jury in the Rose Of Lancaster Stakes before winning the Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor last time. A reproduction of that form may well suffice for Godolphin's colt, who looks the one to beat. Mick Channon's Halicarnassus is capable but inconsistent and looks best watched, especially with a penalty to carry for his Group 2 success in Turkey last time. Brain Meehan's City Leader has not been seen since being well held in the Champion Stakes last season, while Mike De Kock's King Of Rome was well held on his return at Kempton recently. Ralph Beckett's Look Here is well treated judged by official BHA ratings and cannot be discounted dropped into this grade having been contesting Group 1 races in all four starts since winning The Oaks last year. She rates the main threat to the selection, Campanologist.
