      Verdict

The trip is an unknown but William Hogarth ran well over 2m6f at Wincanton last month and is well treated on his best form. The unexposed Valentine Vic may just need this while Don't Push It's target is the Grand National in April so he's best ignored and McCoy rides Cappagh, who won three on the bounce before coming up against Grand Crus at Cheltenham in November. The latter may still be on a decent mark and is certainly one for the short-list. Sangfroid hasn't won since 2009 but has been climbing the weights steadily since and likely to find at least one too good again today so we'll stick with AWESOME FREDDIE. The six-year-old has improved markedly since his stamina has been allowed to come into play and he may be able to add to his Taunton win, despite the 8lb higher mark.
