    Verdict

Another field chock full of potential talent but Aqlaam is likely to be a warm order. Willie Haggas' colt was the talk of the town following his debut in an Ascot maiden that had everyone talking. The form of the race has actually taken knock after knock but this son of Oasis Dream is given the chance to justify his engagement in the St James's Palace Stakes by opening his account today. Pinpointing potential dangers isn't easy with form thin on the ground but Film Maker looked a talented sort on his one run as a juvenile and could feature. Connections have lofty ambitions for Karoush judged by his big race entries with Fountains Abbey, Amber Queen, Round The Cape and Lightning Squall some of the likelier looking newcomers. The market should be revealing but Aqlaam sets the standard and gets the nod.
