Verdict

WAITER'S DREAM was only just held in an improved run on his second run and a similar effort might be enough to take this maiden but Luckyreno has an eye-catching pedigree while Moriarty hails from Richard Hannon's operation so has to be respected. After a solid debut when half way down the field over course and distance the pick then showed vast improvement to be held less than a length behind Auld Burns last time. His yard are in form and only slight improvement should be more than enough against these rivals. Luckyreno has a good mixture of speed and stamina in his pedigree so this trip should be ideal and from powerful connections should be better than average as should stable mate Profondo Rosso. Moriarty is bred well enough to suggest a good first effort and from this yard will have more than a chance and Godolphin's Life And Times makes plenty of appeal on paper. A tricky race to judge as most of these could be anything but Waiter's Dream is progressive and will know his job well now.
