Verdict

It traditionally takes a speedy filly to land this but last year's winner, Windfire, had run over 6f and 7f before landing the spoils. EXPLOSIVE LADY (NAP) looked a bit unlucky in the Princess Margaret at Ascot last month as the first two had flown by the time Martin Harley had extracted her from a pocket. She was ahead of Rosie's Premiere and Accipiter that day and, as she'd won easily enough over 5f on her debut at Nottingham, could be the answer to this. The Hannon trio Dangerous Moonlite, Parsley and Spirit Of Xian are respected, as is Littlemissblakeney who had Dangerous Moonlite, Blue Aegean and Al Fareej behind when fifth in the Queen Mary and didn't appear to get home over 6f last time at Newmarket.
