In depth

Verdict

Mujahaz gets the call over Moraine, Calzaghe and Pret A Porter, with Arctic Wings another worth a mention. This looks fairly wide-open, but Mujahaz showed enough talent when scoring first time back at the Berkshire track in May, to warrant further support here. The step up in trip proved a revelation for John Dunlop's charge, and as the form has been franked by Madaarek since, he must surely go close. Moraine is one-from-one after her debut success in a Folkestone fillies' maiden, but she has to shoulder co-topweight, while Calzaghe appeared not to go through with his effort when narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton, but there was 14-lengths back to the third, so he still has to be respected. Cathy Gannon has done well since going to ride work for the likes of Bryn Palling and David Evans, and the latter puts her up on Pret A Porter who did nothing wrong when winning at Warwick last month. Arctic Wings might just find conditions too fast, and for the winner we return to Mujahaz.
