Verdict

Plenty of winners on show with Euxton Hall's recent win at Pontefract arguably the best form. RHAMNUS produced the most impressive display, however, as he forged clear in soft ground to win his maiden at Sandown last month and today's going should hold no fears for Richard Hannon's colt. Stablemate Master Of War was well beaten in the Coventry at Royal Ascot with Living Desert even further behind and a bigger threat could come from Boomshackerlacker. He just got up in the rain-sodden ground at Newmarket last time and should go well again here.
