Verdict

SECRET QUEST produced a strong finish to grab third on her handicap bow at Nottingham last month and this longer trip should be within her compass. James Fanshawe's filly scored in soft ground at the same track on her debut and is just preferred to another unexposed filly in Varnish. The latter was also placed on her first start in a handicap though she's closely matched with Little Dutch Girl on latest running and Berwin on earlier form. Anya's maiden win came in heavy ground at Lingfield which should stand her in good stead here and The Giving Tree should figure if handling the surface.
