Verdict

Woodcote Place came out best at the weights despite finishing second in a claimer at Epsom last month and he looks sure to be thereabouts, as does Zomerlust, who defied unfavourable terms to run out a clear winner in plating company at Hamilton recently. Corporal Maddox has the past form but has lost the winning habit and preference goes to EZDEYAAD. A winner at Folkestone in May, he wasn't disgraced in a decent handicap at Lingfield last time and has every chance of getting his head back in front on today's terms. Avon River has the ability but is not one to trust and the remainder are facing a tough task.
