In depth

Verdict

Malaath, Party and Galipette are the three that catch the eye here and Malaath is nominated to maintain Godolphin's good run. Richard Hannon's Party is the most experienced runner in nthe field and she has run encouraging races in decent company, most recently winning her race on the stands side, finishing second at Nottingham. If the newcomers disappoint, Party can take advantage. Henry Cecil introduces the Khaled Abdullah owned Galipette who is closely related to some classy sprinters such as Camacho. Galipette is worth following in the market and it would not be a surprise to see him play a part in the finish. Malaath though looks an intersting debutant, out of a half sister to the smart middle distance performer Tasneef, she represents a stable carrying all before them at present and the mere fact that she makes her debut here entitles her to respect. the stable have an army of talent from which to pick and Malaath is expected to make a winning bow.
