Verdict

This has gone to a three-year-old in three of the four renewals and BRONTERRE is a strong representative from the younger generation this time. A Listed winner in his first season and a close fourth in the Dewhurst, he was odds-on for his reappearance in the Greenham here but could only fnish third to Caspar Netscher. He never showed in the Derby on his only subsequent start but hopefully can get back to winning ways. Silverheels had some strong juvenile form but has been disappointing this season while Mia's Boy has plenty to find on official ratings if he wants to gain his 10th career success. Dimension started favourite for the Royal Hunt Cup and ran well enough to give him a shout here and the former Australian Listed winner Scarf produced a good effort in the Wokingham and is better over this extra furlong.
